I know I’m a little late on this - I couldn’t post anything yesterday, so here we go. Jim at Irregularly Periodic Ruminations tagged me. I have to admit that something about getting tagged by someone gives me just a little thrill, so I'm doing it. Now, you can read just how quirky and strange I am - wahahahahaha!!!!!!

and here are the seven random/weird facts about me ...

1. Some people I know find this strange but I do not and will not eat shredded lettuce for anything, not even if the fate of all mankind depended on it. I will eat any other lettuce, but not shredded lettuce. Once one of my friends asked me if I would eat it if he took a lettuce leaf and shred it in front of me - we didn’t try it, but I don’t think I would. I don’t know why, I just can’t stand those vile slivers of lettuce.

2. I love chocolate chip cookies, but only the ones made by elves - Keebler I believe. If I open the package I always take out six cookies and eat those - no more, no less. If someone takes a cookie off my stack of six I freak out - if someone else opens the package, the rule of six doesn’t apply.

3. As a kid I would not buy toilet paper at the store. I wouldn’t walk through the store with it in the cart and I would not go through the checkout line if someone I was with was buying it. I used to think that people were going to point at me and say something like, “I know you have to take a dump” and then laugh. If my mom sent me to buy toilet paper I would come home with a roll of paper towels, I figured they did the same job. I’m out of this phase. As a matter of fact, I just got home from the store where I bought toilet paper and now I have to go take a dump - ha!

4. When I was a kid I couldn’t sleep with the closet door open, not even a crack. If it was open even just a little bit I would think that monsters would come into my room and carry me off to wherever monsters take little kids during the night. I got over this by taking the closet door completely off the hinges, so I wouldn‘t have to worry about it opening during the night. To this day, if you go in my room you will see that the closet doors have been removed.

5. I’m right 97 - 98% of the time - on the 2-3% of the times that I’m wrong, most of the time it’s because someone gave me the wrong information - Ha!

6. I won’t intentionally lie to anyone. It’s not because I’m such a great person or anything like that, it’s simply because I’m very forgetful. If I were to intentionally lie to someone I would forget the lie before our next conversation.

7. I believe that what we do comes back to us, so I try to do the right thing - well, what I think is the right thing at the time. It’s not always the easiest thing to do, but it’s what I feel is right even if no one else thinks it is.
