Happy Thanksgiving

I didn’t know if I should go into a whole story about thanksgiving past or if I should simply just say Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. I originally thought I would post about the year I was ten years old and spent Thanksgiving at my paternal grandparents house, but trying to get things done today just didn’t leave me much time to write anything, so I may just post that story tomorrow.

In my family we sit down to dinner and we take turns telling everyone else what we’re thankful. I’m thankful for the usual things; family, friends and for life in general. I know it sounds like a cop-out but life has been good to me. I may not have unlimited funds in the bank. I may not live in an exclusive gated community and I may not even drive the “coolest” car, but I have my health and a great bunch of people in my life - what more could anyone ask for?

There’s still a lot to do before the big dinner, so I have to keep this short. Believe it or not, I actually googled some pie recipes and attempted to make a couple of them. The pies look ok, at least they look ok to me - we’ll see how they taste and see if the family and friends that I feed them to survive. So from my family to yours we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and for the one Brit that I reads this every once in a while - Happy Thursday J

On another note - Christmas is just around the corner and it’s time to send out the cards, well at least I think it. I don’t know that there is actually a time to do it or not. Well for the past few years I’ve drawn a goofly little card had it printed out and sent it out to family and friends. The picture of the last card I did is below:

I’m doing another one this year, which will be totally different. This year I'm going with "Happy Christmas" If you’d like a card you can email your address and I’ll get it in the mail as soon as I can. Teller80@gmail.com
