observations by the fountain - two girls in love

Last night I saw something that at the time seemed really nice, and I don't mean in a weird perverse way. I saw two girls that were in love. What seemed great about it to me is that they walked hand in hand through Caesar's Palace and they didn't care who saw them or what anyone else thought about it. It was as if they were in their own little world and everything outside of it didn't matter. I was sitting on the edge of the fountain and they came and sat down close to where I was. One girl sat with her back to the fountain and the other girl sat leaning back against the first girls chest. They had their arms around each other and just held each other like they didn't have a care in the world. Anyone that saw them just knew that they were in love and weren't afraid to show it.

Someday I'd hope to be in love with someone like that: well, minus the whole lesbian part of it, but in love with someone so much that nothing else seemed to matter.

Once I thought I was in love, but it turned out to be a bad stomach virus.
