Attempt at drawing

I don’t usually post any of my attempts at art on here. I think that one of my problems is in getting things to come out proportional and I think that one of the reasons for that is because I would try to draw from what I saw or from what I remembered. I’ve seen other people who start off by making circles for the head, torso, etc. Today I decided to try and use the circle and cylinder way of drawing two characters. I think that the drawings come out a little better and a little more proportional, but still I need a lot of work. When I look at the following two drawings they look like they should be bobble-heads to me. If you want to give me some pointers, please feel free and I know sometimes you gotta be cruel to be kind, so don’t worry about hurting my feelings. I can take it. PS - I still can't figure out how to do hands - auuugghhh!!!!

The artwork looks good, Tony. Great work with the shading.

You're right...hands are tough to draw. That explains why you don't always see them in portraits!

    Keep up the great work!
